Embodied Movement Retreat

18, 19, 20 september 2020

Melissa Ransdorp & Lotte Willemsma

Roodeschool – Groningen

‘share the space with us to play with movement’

In this weekend Melissa and Lotte will come over to Kura Waka to share their experience and knowledge in breathwork, somatic movement, (active)meditation, contact improvisation, authentic movement, ecstatic dance and everything in between.

On Saturday there will be a sweatlodge ceremony guided by Michaela based on the Chippewa-Cree tradition – passed on to her by the Native Elder Ron Evans.

We will play, create experiences, dive into the unknown, share the space with each other to learn new ways of moving and be guided by our true self and the people and nature around us.

For Lotte, dance is a way to express that which lives inside her, a way to make contact with herself and others. This connection with dance was the reason to go to the dance academy and after that to specialise more in dance and movement therapy. Together with all the followed workshops in between and after, she will brings a lot of energy and joy through the weekend compared with a deep grounding in her work en movements.
